The accommodation in detail
Have breakfast in the shade on your private terrace; from around midday, the sun stays with you into the afternoon. A hammock, two loungers and a Moroccan-style outdoor shower sit above the mango and avocado groves, with the sea beyond.
Lounis also carries the oldest part of the house. During the 2020–2022 restoration, we uncovered and kept Moorish masonry and original floor tiles. The secured eight-metre well still holds water, but is not used as domestic or drinking water.

From Casa AMARA, you are right in the heart of the village: Calle Chorruelo continues into Calle Real, Frigiliana’s lively main street with restaurants, bars and small shops. The church tower is only about 15 metres away. Plaza de las Tres Culturas is just around 550 metres away, and the route there has no stairs — a particularly convenient setting in Frigiliana’s historic old town.
