Parking in Frigiliana for overnight guests, made easy
If you stay overnight in Frigiliana, parking is usually not a problem. It gets full because of day visitors between eleven and five; by then your car is usually parked, or you are at the beach.

Timing
Arrive before eleven or after five
Over the years we see the same rhythm: day visitors arrive late in the morning and leave in the early afternoon. Our guests often do the opposite: to the beach in the morning, back when the village is empty again.
If you can choose your arrival time: before eleven or after five. Then the streets are open and the last stretch is short.
Paying & charging
How the car park under the Plaza works
The underground car park below Plaza de las Tres Culturas is straightforward: you take a ticket at the barrier and pay at the machine on the way out — by card, including contactless, or in cash. No one has to hunt for coins in the stairwell.
For electric cars: reliable charging points right at the space are usually not available in the garage as things stand. The nearest public charging points are down at the edge of the village, in the marked spaces.
With luggage
The lane is drivable in theory. We would still walk.
It is narrow enough that a scratch on the hire car happens quickly, and sorting it out afterwards costs more time than the walk ever could.
Delivery vans for the restaurants and shops often stand in the middle of the lane. On foot you are usually faster and always calmer.
The way from the car to the door has gradient, cobbles and steps. A space that looks close on the map can be above or below.

For Casa AMARA: Avenida Carlos Cano
There is usually space on Avenida Carlos Cano, and from there it is a short walk up to our shared front door. None of the four apartments has a space of its own.
